Denver Active 20-30 Children’s Foundation (Denver Active 20-30) is honored to stand with our Grant Recipients in serving Colorado’s disadvantaged and at-risk youth.
The current public health crisis has hit everyone hard. Denver Active 20-30 wants the organizations we support to have the flexibility to meet the changing needs of all organizational and program stakeholders in these uncertain times. Accordingly, Denver Active is releasing our grants from any restrictions to assist our Grant Recipient organizations through this pandemic.
Denver Active 20-30 remains committed to assisting at-risk and disadvantaged youth throughout Colorado and we hope our funds can continue to directly impact those programs where possible. However, we understand that current needs may necessitate spending money in ways that were not anticipated a few months ago.
This past funding cycle we partnered with the Denver Post Community Foundation’s Season to Share. The above release does not apply to Season to Share grants, however, we have been in communication with them and they would like to hear from organizations that may need flexibility with their grant restrictions. If you were funded through Season to Share, please reach out to Stacy Schafer at mailto:sschafer@denverpost.com if you would like to discuss your grant.
As we navigate this crisis together, we are grateful for your past, present, and future efforts to deliver essential services and to make a difference for our youth. We hope you stay safe and healthy and look forward to continuing to build our community with you in the years ahead.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Brett Cunningham, Denver Active 20-30 Member, Board Director, and Charity Review Chair at mailto:brett.cunningam@riveron.com.
